The Hillcrest Country Club Charitable Foundation (HCCCF) Scholarship is available to individuals pursuing an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or certificate-granting program at an accredited non-profit college or university. This scholarship, once granted and upon satisfactory completion of ongoing requirements, is renewable at the discretion of the HCCCF Board. All scholarship funding is set at a maximum of 6 years across all program types and at a maximum of $100,000 across all program types, whichever comes first. All final funding and program approval will be at the ultimate discretion of the Hillcrest Charitable Board.

WHO CAN APPLY? 

• Full and Part-Time Employees of Hillcrest Country Club (HCC) Los Angeles.
• Dependents (includes children, grandchildren, step and adopted children) of qualified Full and Part-Time Employees of HCC.
• Spouses or Domestic Partners of Full and Part-Time Employees of HCC.
• Non-employee outside workers who actively work at the Club (i.e., caddies, valets, independent contractors), hereafter referred to as “Employee” for sole purpose of this document.
• All applicants’ eligibility must be verified by Hillcrest Country Club’s Human Resources.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Employee must be employed at Hillcrest Country Club for a minimum of 1 year AND at least 1,500 hours.
• HCC Employee must not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan at the time of application and awarding.
• Eligible Employee, Dependent or Spouse/Domestic Partner must participate in, at no cost to the Employee and/or the Dependent of an Employee, Fulfillment Fund’s College Counseling and Advisement.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD AMOUNTS: 

• Certificate and extension funding will be determined on a case-by-case basis dependent on final course/program enrollment details.

Applicant Requirements:  1. Current high school students: high school transcripts with a minimum 2.0 weighted GPA. Current College students: college unofficial transcripts with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA.  2. Personal Statements – see application prompts  3.
